General Rules All members of DKL are to adhere to proper etiquette in Game servers and in Ventrilo. You must be at least 16 years of age and have a microphone to be a member of DKL. A Commanding Officer is classified as rank of Commodore and above. All commanding officers are responsible for the orders that they issue. When a DKLOfficer of higher rank is present, he/she assumes command of the situation. DKL members must respect all other members. Double Claning is not allowed as this can cause problems. As a DKL member you are expected to devote all your gaming time to DKL, thus leaving no time for other clans or guilds. If you wish to join DKL then you should first quit any and all other gaming clans or guilds first. If in the case we are helping another guild in a different game I.E.: helping build up there guild status in any way shape or form, you are allowed to wear there guild tags, but you will still remain a member of DKL. If you feel you have a good reason to double clan then you may ask for permission to do so from the High Command as long as it does not interfere with your obligations to DKL. You are not aloud to kill fellow Guild/Clan members of DKL, unless it's through joint agreed PVP. Three (3) weeks of inactivity without notice will result in the removal of that member from the clan. A simple email requesting leave or a post in our forum leaves and transfers section, for the duration of your planned absence is all that is required. Unforeseen and extraordinary circumstances will be considered. Forum Rules If any DKL member posting in the Public Sections of the Forums (sections that the people can read without logging in) makes a post using any kind of foul language, they will suffer the following consequences: First Offense will be a week’s ban from that forums and web site. Second Offense will be a month’s ban from the forums and web site. Third Offense will be the removal from DKL and a permanent ban from the web site and forums. You may not post any offensive materials on this website which includes but is not limited to avatars and signatures. Ventrilo Rules DKL uses a Voice Program Called Ventrilo. While we have our own Ventrilo server it is still important to respect the other members. Long phonetic names and offensive names will not be tolerated. Administrative Any DKL member may be expelled for the inability to Command, inability to carry out orders, conduct unbecoming of an Officer, or inactivity, by the Chancellor without question. You are are entitled to a court martial if you feel you have been wrongly expelled from the clan. A Court Martial is defined as the suspected Officer being allowed an opportunity to defend himself, using a representative if desired, in front of the Council which will review evidence that has been submitted and make a final judgment. Any Formal Inquiry is defined as a Commanding Officer questioning the actions of an Officer; in the presence of two (2) witnesses the intention is to resolve the problem at this level first if possible. High Command The High Command consists of Artarious, River, TThompson, and Phaez. Any major problems should be reported to these people if you feel it appropriate to bypass the main chain of command. The High Command consists of those members that have shown their dedication to DKL and have performed admirably in all of their duties. These people are there to help you with any problems you might have and to decide what’s best for DKL. FINAL NOTE: WE ARE HERE TO HAVE FUN, AND MAKE NEW FRIENDS.
