Game Updates and Clan Direction.

Well now, it’s been an interesting few months. All of the major games we are waiting for have gotten huge updates accompanied by many more pictures and information. Not only that, we have an expanded member base that include some great guys.

A quick recap of the games we are waiting for:

Star Trek Online

Star Wars the Old Republic

Starcraft 2

Stargate Worlds

The most notable increase in information comes from STO where the closed beta is in full swing along with the announcement of the open beta dates and its release date. STO will be in open beta from Jan 12th, 2009 to Jan 24th. After many years of waiting, the game is finally around the corner!

All in all, we are hoping for the best. Add to that, we can now move around our own bridges at launch! I, myself, have already preordered the game from Amazon in order to get the Borg bridge officer bonus.

*Side Note*, preordering from GameStop will get you a Constitution class ship that has extra slots.

The next game, Star Craft Two, has recently revamped their website and added information about the new heroes and the new Zerg changeling unit. Great stuff that I can’t wait to use. Not a whole lot of new information is available for SC2, there are some dev updates about single and multiplayer match development, along with the 4 battle reports. No release date yet sadly, but its close.

Then there is Stargate Worlds. What to say about SGW….Well first off it seems the game is no longer “dead” as many were led to believe. After a short period of inactivity, the main SGW website updated their status and added a few pictures. Not dead, but who *really* knows how far SGW is are and how close we are to its release.

Finally, there is Star Wars the Old Republic. One of the major updates reveals the playable class of the Imperial Agent, a spy and over-all rapscallion. Another great addition that *might* be in the game is player housing! Player houses will add a whole new level of play that TOR might miss out on if houses are not available. While many may hope TOR is the new Star Wars Galaxies, I don’t think that will happen. Take Star Wars the Old Republic how it is, a *hopefully* great Star Wars game that adds a lot of content to the cannon.

In closing, I would like to announce here an exciting new opportunity that has been created. DKL has now formally created a World of Warcraft division that is to be headed up by none other than Commander Countryboy92. His skills at the game and organizing people will make him a great leader for the division.

The creation of the WoW division also marks the first step in the creation of a large, enjoyable community. Many of the core ideas behind DKL have been hammered out but there is still quite a few that need attention. We are still forming but we have a great start and while it may be a long road ahead, I believe we can accomplish anything we want with the great group of guys we have already. Add to that the new recruits we are going to get and nothing will be able to stand in our way!

I know the post is a bit long, but hey, it’s not been done in a while. News will be updated more frequently now so stay tuned!

Nexon Fails

Top 5 things Nexon fails at.

1. Hacksheild. Nexon fails at getting hacker out of the game.

2. Power Leveling. Nexon doesn't find out that people are power leveling.

3. Server fails. Nexon doesn't keep up with they're servers so they fail at times.

4. Ranks. Nexon Makes it almost near to impossible to get to a Lieutenant rank in a year.

5. GM Moderation. GM's don't moderate many rooms in CA. They are to busy with they're Maplestory game and don't give a shit about CA.

Those are 5 ways that Nexon fails at.

DKL is Recruiting!

First off I would like to thank everyone who has registered so far. While you may not have posted anything its a first step. As the title says DKL is recruiting! We are looking for anyone is mature, speaks english well, and is active.

As stated before this is a multigaming clan so we will try to make what ever game you enjoy playing work here in DKL. Of all the games out there I have three I would like to see huge partipication in......when they are finally released.

These games are:
                           Star Trek Online
                           Stargate Worlds
                           Starcraft 2

I am sure anyone who joins will gladly play any of these games. When we get enough active members I will be buying a ventrilo server which can be expanded upward when the need arises.
